Parklife

Airvault is blessed by the presence of a large riverside country park. Luckily for us the park can be reached directly from the camp site by crossing a little bridge on the river leading immediately onto the large network of footpaths. Yesterday and today we were fortunate to have it all to ourselves but every summer Airvault hosts a Didgeridoo Festival and this green sward is then filled with happy clappy hippy folk. Must be quite a sight to see all those acres of didgeridoos!

Had a super lunch in Airvault today and we may well return in the future. It will be within easy reach of our new home.

The town is good camera fodder though today gave me few opportunities between the drizzle and a man impatient to find his lunch... No doubt a few snaps will reach Facebook or the blog soon .
