Manic Friday!

All go today, got up and out the house by 9am, determined to avoid the traffic as much as possible....was still bad but not as bad as the other day!

So I've been to the supermarket for a small shop;

I've collected a card that didn't have enough postage from the Sorting Office (late Birthday card from Brother and Family~posted on the 16th though!!);

I've gone into town and collected my new glasses; then I've been to the bank; popped into M&S to find a nice retirement card for my Dad~zilch and some bits and bobs for me including these lovely long socks, then home for an hour :):)

Put my feet up in my new socks to have a rest, as I'm off out in about 15 minutes to go to work for a compulsory attendence All Staff Meeting (and I'm on holiday!!!)...good job I wasn't abroad... Just hoping it doesn't mean redunancy, could be anything, or a total waste of my time (as they are often 'lets bitch at everyone else' meetings)!!

Phew, after that I can finally come home and get on with things.

No slow cooking today, I didn't have half the ingredients, but I have now so it will be cooking Beef Goulash tomorrow (which takes 10 1/2 hours!) :)

Thanks to everyone for their advice about my Dad's photograph and the crease! I took it to a meeting I went to last night and a friend who is a semi professional photographer took it and spent an hour sorting it out for me, then emailed it! How very kind of him, its much better now :):) I need to find something to say thank you!

Maybe I will have a chance to do something 'craft' work wise tomorrow...its been all go this week....

Oh yes, when I got home I had received a postcard from the SLS group (through JazzyB)...only guess what, the postman had folded it in half putting it through the letterbox....thankfully it doesn't show too much :) What a pretty card!!
