Our Feature Presentation

My Dear Fellows and Dear Princess Normal,

You all know how much I love going to the pictures. And it's not just seeing a film, it's the whole experience. The previews, the Cornetto, even the advert for the carpet warehouse.

It's just a whole thing.

Before we left the UK, I got myself a little projector. It's just a tiny little thing, which is good because it means the fan is not loud. As far as picture quality goes, I'm really happy with it too.

So, with Er Indoors away, I thought it was time to break it out to watch a film. I was even more delighted to find old cinema ads and previews on YouTube, so I got to re-experience the wonderful crappiness of 70's cinema, when smoking patrons had to sit on the left, and there was always an Indian restaurant just yards from this auditorium.

After all that, I put on a film called "Isle of the Fishmen". I know you'll be amazed to learn that this film was a whole heap of poop (fish-poop) and I had to give it up and watch an old faithful instead.

So I put on "The Beast Must Die!" which is the best werewolf whodunnit film ever and stars an actor named Calvin Lockhart which is the best soap-opera hero name I have ever heard.

I have thoroughly enjoyed myself tonight and may have to do this again tomorrow. Next time I'll see if I can find some Pearl & Dean ads.

p.s. That is Jasper you can see down in front. I had to ask him to take his fruit hat off.
