The Dunkenhalgh in Autumn.
I walked to Clayton -le -Moors, the next village on from Rishton, as it is a very cold and bright sunny day. Wish I had worn my hat and scarf as it was alot colder than anticipated!.
I went to the Dunkenhalgh Estate where there are wonderfully tall ancient beech trees that look remarkably beautiful at this time of year.
The Dunkenhalgh is a popular hotel run by Mercure and it is a great conference venue.
I went to a Tesco customer feed back meeting there when Maria was a babe in arms.
My kind Mother and Father in-law once treated our family to a wonderful meal there and it was superb cuisine.
Very appreciable standard.
They host some excellent Christmas craft fairs and various other celebrations and events. Well worth a visit.
I was thrilled to see the Autumn beech trees looking lovely this morning.
Hope you all have a great weekend.
