Preparations
I woke up this morning at about four with a cough that wouldn't stop until I had fed it some cough mixture. I'd already had a bit of a disturbed night because Bailey decided to take himself right under the middle of my bed last night and I didn't have the wherewithal to retrieve him. He extricated himself once the light was out but didn't lie that quiet.
I did feel better than I had for most of the weekend once I was up but I was clearly not completely with it when I managed to lock my car keys in the boot of my car. The bestest friend came to the rescue as usual, braving the ring road at the worst possible time to bring me my spare key.
I managed to avoid any more mess ups as the day went on and Y11 and Y13 were kind to me. A meeting at the end of the day and then a catch-up with a colleague before I headed home via a couple of purchases. I am definitely on countdown to the end of the day on Thursday and setting off for the far side on Saturday. I have been pondering on and off when we visited St Davids before but it's only tonight that I have realised that there is a very big clue on the map that we picked up the last time I was there. And I can't blame the cold for not having noticed that before!
