Sleepy eyed

This dish was a present from my late parents -in -law who lived in Devon.  It was made by a local potter called Stuart Bass.  He specialises in pie funnels which seems an odd thing to do.
It has been holding my back door, back gate and shed keys on a windowsill.  Going to find a different place to display it so the owl can be seen.
Spring must be here as I have given the grass at the back of the house a first cut of the year.  Also cleared up all the leaves and twigs which have been littering the garden.  Can now see the bulbs more clearly.
