Flowering Easter Tree

The decorations above are unusual insomuch as I have chosen flowering twigs and that arrangement won't last as long as the one in extras, which is made of budding twigs.
The idea of Easter Trees originated in Scandinavia where the nights are longer, and colder, and days shorter in the winter months.  The Spring was a very welcome time of the year.   It has been adopted in UK for several years now and some shops decorate their windows to denote the sign of Spring.
