A tale of two cities.
Another busy day for me which saw me journey to deepest, darkest Kent (for work) and then off to the BBC's Radio Theatre to be an audience member for a concert being broadcast live - very exciting.
Later in the evening (11:30pm) I grabbed my camera and tripod and headed out to take some images near my hotel. Two hours later I was still snapping away quite happily, moving from Australia House, Past the Royal Courts of Justice on Fleet Street, Temple Church, St Paul's Cathedral and down to the Millennium Bridge and Tate Modern.
This is a photograph of the Griffin which sits atop a plinth on Fleet Street and marks the boundary between The City of Westminster and The City of London. I spent a while waiting for one of the night buses to drive past so I could get a flash of colour and movement into the shot. I had a long exposure of 20 seconds to ensure the bus trail streaked along the entire length of the frame.
