Great Heron in Flight

I discovered a hidden nature area next to the tennis bubble I frequent once weekly. Had 15 minutes, and a Nikon with my 18-270 Tamron zoom, so I meandered out to the pond.

They all saw me coming.

Mr. Canada Goose gave me the evil eye, saying "What's up, eh? Can't you see I'm eating here?

Mr Mallard gave me the evil eye while winging away to safety.

.. and then I spooked the Heron. Always wishing for better optics, I'm pleased that I got the wingtip tapping the water.

I feel fowl. <chuckle>
