Palm Sunday

Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
                                                        Zechariah 9:9

For Palm Sunday, we went to a church on Anna Maria Island to see a cantata. 36 voices in the choir, along with 6 people playing instruments, the conductor, and the narrator. 44 people all together, and they did a very nice job. We both enjoyed it.

On the way home, it seemed fitting that the blue heron posed in front of the palm tree. You see...he is the king of his domain, and in this area...the master of the castle.

We later went out for the sunset, and grabbed a few more shots. A pretty night heron showed up, along with a juvenile. They are on my Flickr page, along with the setting sun.
