Steam Rising
Now that it is summer time there is much more heat in the sun. It was evident today, shortly after a torrential down pour, the clouds cleared and the sodden ground started to give up its moisture in plumes of mist.
There was a confusing array of make shift signs and bits of yellow bunting at various access points to the forest today, suggesting some horse riding activity. There was no clue to time, or even if it had happened yesterday. We took a different route today, one we perceived would be less well trodden according to lack of bunting at this particular entrance. We were just about back to the car when the first of many horses appeared behind us. Archie was very nervous of those big dogs, the largest he has ever seen.
Extra, less steamy image from same walk.
Anyone else missingthat hour?
