The PBR, like all major sports, doesn’t allow cameras. Security, includes; a  mandatory bag search and walk-thru metal detector. The best chance for good photos, using a cell phone was before and after the event. 

Luckily, two bovine athletes stood outside the venue for fans to view.
Pill pusher, the brown bull hanging back.
Up front, Uncle G, considered a small bull at 1,300 lbs. He appeared bored by the whole experience, but meet-and-greet is part of a pro’s job. I imagine him saving his resources for the big buck-off.
Didn’t happen. No glory for the big guy tonight. Ueberson Duarte road the white bull for 8 seconds and 83.25 points, enough to move Duarte to the finals.

PEOPLE WATCH MOMENT
A petite Native American woman sat in front of me. I first noticed her long raven-black hair, then her movements. Picture her playing a piano. She reaches for a keyboard above her head. Tapping the keys slowly when the cowboy leaves the chute. Faster and faster her fingers fly,  as the clock ticks toward 8 seconds.
I gotta think she’s sending good mojo. Pretty cool, huh?
