Getting well soon

Here is a display of my get well soon cards on the kitchen dresser. The bunch of daffodils came from my parents' garden. They gave the flowers to me yesterday as part of the series of surprises for 'Mystery day'.

I have spent most of today sitting in front of the dresser, at the kitchen table with my computer. The most tangible output of my laptop tapping are some updates to my blogs, including a post about a conference  in Sheffield this week. LyndseyJ is there to represent our research group.

Had I not been currently undergoing cancer treatment, today would have been the first day of our holiday in Naples, as booked on October 31st last year :-(
