Special day...

Today Mr S passed out as a retained firefighter.
We saw him in action and enjoyed watching him put fires out and cut up cars.
Then he was awarded his certificate and we beamed with pride.
But none of us knew that he would be awarded the 'silver axe award'. 
This is for the trainee who has consistently achieved a high standard in both technical and practical aspects of the course. 
Wow!
Couldn't be any prouder of you!
