parkrun volunteer

Very cold volunteering stint this morning. Ethan & I had bagged the Marshall spot by the Bowling Club, which meant we couid nip away sharpish and get to Ethan’s football match in Bathgate.

It was the first match since his team have joined the league. Horrible weather though and dreadful playing conditions. The coaches ended up calling it a day half way through as some of the kids gave up and were in tears - they were so wet & cold, poor things. Ethan kept going but admitted afterwards he has been close to tears at one point.
