Turning

I'm not ready to let summer go and I'll be pleased when the cooler air mass we've had for a few days is replaced by warm temperatures again.

The seasons are changing and on the plus side the colours are getting richer and I get to use one of my favourite words, autumnal.

Mornings and evenings feel autumnal :-)

Jasper and I waved Ben and Sarah off today. Much to Jasper's dismay he was straight into his room while I went out to exercise.

Most of the afternoon I dealt to housework and sorted a few things.

It hasn't been a good day for Dad but it's ended well and for that I'm grateful.

Today's gratitude: For the lovely feeling of not having to be anywhere or do anything this evening.
