pebble underneath my feet

a wave came crashing like a fist to the jaw

Had a nice day today. It's Thursday which means I do an outdoor learning session in the afternoon, which is always the best lesson of the week - for me and for the kids. After running around like headless chickens trying to figure out probability sums, and how to use a passive complex sentence, it's so refreshing to be outdoors, looking at worms and frogs. My weekly yoga class (I really should do more) plus the daily photography are two of the few things keeping me sane at the moment. I was telling the kids in my class about Dave, my yoga teacher, today. They were fascinated by the thought of their teacher having a teacher.

Can he put his feet behind his head?

Yes, he can!

Can he turn himself in to a pretzel?

Yes, he can!

Can he do a head stand?

Yes, he can!

(Dave is basically awesome).
