The dropped stitch

A day of trudging round Lerwick. Hard on the feet, but good for the 'read count' compared to country days.
Very fine to have a base in town to pop back to for refreshments and a sit down. With due warning V has kettle on and snack table prepared. Very good service!
Tonight heading West for 2 nights.

Blip is of the marble plaque on the Widows' Homes in Lerwick. Opened in 1865, for the widows of seamen.
