The Great Gig in the Sky

evening all,

Am currently shuttling up and down various nasty motorways and A roads between Blackpool, (capital of Scottish Holidaymakers and itinerant alcoholics of all persuasions) and the old homestead.

Mainly to do with pleasurable pursuits rather than in the name of human bondage, although one can always hope.

Hit some of the old haunts in Lytham that I half remembered as a 1970's northern holiday refugee, and fulfilled one outstanding filial duty to the long dead whilst I was there.

Then I went to a 50th birthday party, one of a number that I am attending this year, and that was ok too.

Off home for a day before going out to Blackers again on Sunday for a concert given by some old friends of mine.
