The Mainframe
We drove to Helsinki to see Emma's game. Before the game we visited Helsinki city centre. In the picture is a part of one installation in Kiasma Art Museum. It is a work of Nathaniel Mellors and Erkka Nissinen. They represented Finland at the 2017 Venice Biennale with this video installation called The Aalto Natives. A computer stood in the middle of The Mainframe installation, surrounded by talking and moving old male heads mounted on pedestals, and an animation is playing on the computer screen.
In addition to Mellors' & Nissinen's works, we saw exhibitions of Maija Luutonen, the collection exhibition of contemporary art in the Baltic region and Vladislav Mamyshev-Monroe.
Emma's team played in Malmi against Helmi. Although our girls lost, they played well - the ball just didn't go to the basket. Helmi Capitals - Pyrintö 84-67
