Cream Tea for the Would-Be 64 today

Emotional day today. It would’ve been Mum’s 64th birthday. This is her second birthday in another realm.

I went to buy her flowers to put in her home and, whilst out, decided to do something she loved. We’d often go to this tea room when I visited and we absolutely would’ve been there if she was still with us. We’d have shared a cream tea and walked home along the prom. In her absence, it all had to disappear down my gullet. :)
