Looking for pollen!

A beautiful day ..... sunshine, blue skies and NO wind chill so a temp of 11C felt like 11C.

Before heading back to Glasgow L and I went to the Botanic Gardens in St Andrews ..... we were disappointed to find it closed yesterday.

The ground was still rather muddy after the horrendous rain on Thursday night but taking care where we walked we kept our shoes relatively mud free.

Still plenty of snowdrops and hellebores in some of the shadier areas but I liked these crocuses opening up in the sunshine.

The extra photo shows just how much water is still lying on the road at the top of the beach in Elie.
