The rainbow of the night...

...is what lights up our street now the new high school has sprouted.

Tonight I spent another longgg evening there at the eldest daughters LAST EVER parents evening!!! How time has flown ;( I can actually still vividly remember her infant parents evenings, squishing myself onto the teeny chairs and never thinking that this night would be upon us far too quickly!!

As usual it was a night full of compliments and large amounts of mummy pride, especially since my strict regime of revising and no social life on school nights seems to be paying off brilliantly, thanks teachers for backing me up!!

Then it was home to a lovely meal of pork and sausage casserole, been slow cooking all day, was lovely, yay for slow cookers on busy busy days like this :)

The blip is of the pretty cool lights all along the front of the school building, we can see some of them from our house but up close like this in the dark, it's quite striking.
