Floating on the River Lee

Rachel and I were quite mesmerized watching colourful Autumn leaves floating on the dark, fast flowing water of the River Lee today in Cork City. This river has it's source in the wild and rugged mountains of Gougane Barra, where I have swam many times in the cold, clean water. In Cork City the water looked very murky and uninviting!!
Today the girls and I were in Cork to see our dentist, a very nice man indeed and well worth the traveling, we made a nice day off it, lunch out and a little bit of shopping!
