Birthday Celebration

My Mum’s birthday yesterday, and so we sent her a bouquet of flowers.

She has put them in a vase, positioned on a windowsill. These are they. Very pretty they are too.

98 years of age is a big number. As she said when I rang her yesterday, she has to remember that she is an old woman. Although both her and Dad are struggling a bit, bearing in mind their respective ages, they don’t do so badly.
