World Heritage Wheelie Bins

Wheelie Bins - the scourge of Blippers.
In December 2001, Saltaire was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.  I wonder if wheelie bins were part of the "cultural, historical, scientific or other form of significance" that the judges were looking for.
I hate wheelie bins....:-(
