Exciting!

This time last year, katie was awarded a Future Talent grant for fledging musicians. Today she received the first part of her chosen purchases bought with it! This lovely new mouthpiece is step 1 in Operation Upgrade Her Clarinet. It’s beautiful. And I even managed to do the little bit of work to it that was necessary to fit it to her barrel.

I don’t know (or care) if it’s psychological, but she sounded lovely on it.
