Weed

My front garden is a wilderness as it was cleared to dig foundations a drive, but we have never got round to having the foundations or drive built. Thus a variety of weeds have sprung up including these evening primroses. I don't know where they came from, they were not originally in the garden and I haven't sown or planted them. There are rather a lot of them and some of them are over five foot high (150cm for youngsters and other europeans).
I like the shape the stigma has become - in other photos it is tightly held and here it is a very open cross. And the colour is amazing.
One day we will get the drive built :)
