Newroz Day 3

We organised a low key afternoon picnic today for K fellowship. We left the men up on the mountain this evening building fires and cooking kebabs.

It was a lot of fun playing volleyball with a neighbouring picnic group and getting to chat to a lot of other families. My favourite thing was when a lovely old lady insisted on laying down pieces of old carpet on the muddy track for us to drive over. Kurdish hospitality is quite something! She then invited us over to her home which I hope to take her up on next week.
