A New Visitor

I was doing some work in the office this morning when the gardner knocked on the window and told me there was a Pheasant on the tennis court;  I know they're quite common but we haven't had any in the garden for years so I was really pleased to have him call in.  I think he's probably a juvenile as he's quite slim and he seems a bit lost - he's not scared of me but he doesn't quite know just how to react.  I've given him some seed and I'm hoping we'll see him again, although he'd make a prettier photo if he'd come into the garden, and not insist on posing against the fencing.
