Off to get some milk....

Being here in Costa Rica, in our own place is proving to be so much more exciting than our usual 2 week stint at a resort. There are definitely aspects from that ritual that i miss...i miss the white sand and crystal clear waters, not having to think about what to cook etc., no dishes to wash....but here we are having so much more of a 'real' experience. shopping in supermarkets, trying to figure out where each destination is etc. And some of that has been frustrating. But i am enjoying this adventure a lot.

This morning i had to drive to the local shop for milk and more water, it was around 7.30 am.....well things were humming! on my way a small herd of cows came towards me and i was so excited - they are very lovely looking creatures, so different from our usual north american bovin.....but i had forgotten my camera....hardly ever do that.....so last resort, the smart phone! well, in my excitement and haste i somehow managed to activate this thing on the camera that gave me this silly postage stamp selfie!!! Just too funny really.
