Fairy lights

When the fairies are out and about with their lights, the wise countryman puts out a saucer of milk and shuts himself inside. Otherwise he might find that his cow produces sour milk or his lambs are born dead.

Or that his Wi-Fi doesn’t work and his credit rating is at rock bottom.
