Nyon

Yesterday, some friends visiting me from UK and I hopped on the ferry at Yvoire and crossed Lac Leman to the beautiful Swiss town of Nyon. We lunched at a restaurant on the lake front, then walked up through the town to enjoy the views and the architecture, which is definitely different from that in Australia and England. All the fountains in the town had been decorated for Easter. We found a chocolate shop (not by accident - we sought it out as I had read rave reviews on social media), tasted some chocolate and bought some delicious Easter treats for gifts. More walking, coffee and a ferry ride back to Yvoire made for a lovely day.
