Pleasantly Surprised

Meet the 'Tutor' evening for Joshua at Falmouth school, with our 5:35pm slot I wasn't far off the money when I guessed 6:00.
It would appear that Joshua has settled in well and is doing well at school, including being awarded a couple of 100% awards, apparently he regularly exceeds 90%. Of course Clare and I have heard none of this from Joshua himself, it's good to see he has inherited the Stevens modesty.
We left the school and went to the T.S Robert Hichens to collect eighteen Poppy Crosses ready for the week-ends first Poppy Laying in Falmouth.
The photo today is of the Arthur O'Shaughnessy quote which is painted at the entrance to Falmouth School, I have always liked reading this and must find out more about the author.
