The White Hart Inn, Grassmarket
Blipped the wonderful White Hart Inn in the Grassmarket this afternoon.
For you history buffs, The White Hart is in the Grassmarket, and was established early in the 16th century. It stood a few hundred steps from the place where public hangings were held, and was popular among spectators. Robert Burns and William Wordsworth were among its notable visitors, and Burke and Hare found some of the victims of their murder-for-body-parts scheme there.
Nearly the weekend, hurrah ... can't wait after a crappy week at work.
