St John the Evangelist, Langrish
The same church where I came across the anchor headstone a few weeks ago was looking pleasingly autumnal today when I passed it on my way back from Winchester. St John shares a feast day with my birthday, apparently. Anyway, I had a very jolly time with my colleagues in the Bone Lab today and, rather fortuitously, my supervisor happened to pop in this afternoon so we had an impromptu meeting and sorted out a couple of things that had been outstanding.
My other option today, blipwise, was the remains of a collared dove that, sadly, met its demise in my parents' garden at the hands talons of a sparrow hawk. You can see what's left of the dove here, if of interest....
