Skippool Creek

Tucked away in a bend in the Wyre estuary stands Skippool Creek.  A fascinating place where nothing much has changed over the last century.  A very pleasant afternoon walk in almost complete silence;  the only sounds being the odd bird and the lapping of the water.  We finished off the day with a most enjoyable meal at Kipling's Indian Restaurant in Sowerby Bridge on our way home.
