Carving in hard wood. I love the fact that someone looked at a tree and saw in it the potential for a beautiful piece of art. They saw beyond the exterior. It is easy to 'judge a book by its cover' thereby writing off the potential. Look deep within for the beauty often obscured. It's worth the effort .
