PIE!

The slow cooker worked it’s magic on a beautiful beef in red wine. It then got transferred into a pie tray and puff pastry slapped on top.

James was pleased!

Bonkers day. Spent an hour outside the school gates waiting for an ambulance for a student who had dislocated her patella. When I saw the offending knee, I was transported back in time by thirty years or so to when I did the same thing at school. Poor thing. Long time to wait when you’re in agony.

Early night tonight, didn’t sleep well at all last night.
