Zoomy Dog!
On Pepper's walk today I came across a tree with amazing bark textures. I also took a few images of Pepper running along the path and this is actually a combination of the two. The background is the bark, softened and saturated, then mezzotint and radial zoom applied (many repeats of the latter) before trying out the shear distortion (in opposite directions plus a blend). To give a bit of imterest, I added a photo of Pepper behind and just brought through her image to the top - interesting although I'm not sure I could exactly repeat the process. Call it 'experimentation' for Abstract Thursday! AND it fits with the theme of Diagonals!
