La Loire

La Loire has put on some weight since last we saw her. The weir is under water and access to the far bank is not possible at this time, which rather limits Nell's walking.  However, it feels as though we have finally got ahead of the weather. The sun shone this afternoon and this evening is still and calm and nobody is yet shivering.

It is good to be back in Saumur, I enjoyed it very much las autumn. Tomorrow we will revisit the Chinese restaurant that served up the delicious Nems, then I shall go see what colour the umbrellas are at the moment.
