Meet Rocky
The A69 was closed west of Newcastle for a few hours today, so I assume this was sadly due to a fatal accident. I managed to travel via the diversion with little delay to the RPS Northern Documentary Group in Kibblesworth.
We had fewer people attending, but another excellent meeting. Most people showed work, either in prints or as digital images. I took a few images to show how rice noodles were made in Myanmar plus a few from the recent march against privatisation of the NHS.
The discussion was interesting too. I love being part of the group.
When I came out of the hall, I met Rocky and his owner. They were very happy to oblige for a photo and Rocky was lifted up onto a rock. He wasn't keen on looking at the camera, but finally did.
Then back to Humshaugh and only 15 minutes late for choir. We have two concerts coming up in May so I didn't want to miss a rehearsal.
Now I have a lovely gap in the day before we go to see Julius Caesar in a live streaming from the RSC. It's had mixed reviews, but we'll go with open minds.
