Autumnal Aire
The River Aire seems to be getting back to its normal levels after riding high recently.
This spot is at Hirst Wood, just below Nab Wood Cemetery. The bridge carries the Airedale railway line. After another visit to the consultant in Cottingley, it was good to get a chance to walk back to Baildon through the woods and along the canal, enjoying the autumn colours.
The jays were active again, finding and burying acorns.

Thanks for the comments on yesterday's entry - I've updated it to solve the mystery of the missing books.
