Daffodils on a dull day

No sunshine today, but daffodils are always an encouraging sight as we await Spring making us smile.
This is really just a quick test pic with a new lens. I've had my eye on one for some time now, and missed out on a bargain at The Photography Show, only to find one even cheaper, and better condition, online at the same retailer I bought a camera from at the show.
The best things come to those who wait, or something like that... Maybe the weather too?

I've missed a few days, weeks even, of blips, so time for a bit of a catch up.
