Snowy Switzerland

A very early start this morning to get our 7am flight to Zurich. We bumped into a friend in the BA lounge and so ate breakfast with him, but everyone looked a bit bleary eyed and tired at that early hour. We had an easy journey here, quickly unpacked and then managed to get to the supermarket to get some groceries. Now we are lazing about, and have no energy to do anything after the 4.5 hours sleep we had last night!

It is bright and clear, though not really sunny. We saw a local friend who said it was -9C this morning and everyone is just fed up with the cold winter. The forecast for the next few days looks fine, with sunshine on the weekend so that will be good as the weather has not been on our side for the entire season.

I took this photo of the small reservoir in the village on our way to the supermarket - as you can see it is clear but the light is flat. 

Luke will arrive at about 10.30pm tonight so it will be good to see him again. I will make sure there is supper waiting for him as he will no doubt be hungry!
