Ghengis Khan, Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia

Thanks for taking a look at the Great Wall. We have been on the Trans Siberian express to Mongolia and are now in UlaanBaatar for three days. Next stop Siberia, hopefully not a salt mine given the current unrest!!

Then three days back on the train to Moscow with stops along the way.

The Ghengis Khan statue is quite spectacular and stands 40 metres high 50 Kms outside the city.

I have some landscapes and rock formations, but this shot was irresistible:))
