Yes, more rain and aren’t we loving it!! Our lifeline at Wombat Hollow is our rainwater tank so when its happy we’re happy :). We had an inch in the past 24 hours which is nothing compared to other parts of NSW. The daisies in the veggie patch were looking pretty spectacular in the rain.

I spent three hours at the Apple Store in Penrith today. CCN spent some time with Harriett, Jean and Louise while I tackled the issue of how to cope with 26,000 images on Flickr. One major piece of advice to my blip buddies. If like me you tend to photograph birds with your camera on rapid fire, make sure you don’t have the automatic upload to Flickr selected. To my horror I realised this the other day and because of our internet situation I can no longer view them using our internet provider. I used 20gb of data in one day just trying to view the images. It was great at Apple, they let me set my computer up and log into their VERY FAST internet connection. I will probably have to make a couple of more visits to sort things out but in the meantime I have created a new Flickr account and made sure the automatic upload is NOT selected. Just as an aside. The Flickr program doesn’t make it easy to delete images, particularly when you’re trying to delete quite a few at a time. It’s quite a tedious process. It really tested my tenacious side today but I came away feeling quite satisfied. Even more so when I realised I still had two minutes left before I had to pay for parking :))
