It's been over a month since our list gig and now we have 2 in 2 days... first up, King Creosote at the Howden Park Centre in Livingston, a place I went to for a few wedding receptions in the late 1980s and looks nothing like it did - it was nice and a great auditorium. Sir Kenny took a brave decision to play what he called a Medley of Misery on his accordion... that is 35 minutes of songs with no gap, all melded into one. As I said, brave! I think there were some new songs in there so am looking forward to his new album. He reverted to his guitar for the remaining 25 mins and took requests. His voice, as always, is just magical, and his tunes, as always, are just lovely.

Different night altogether tomorrow....
