TA DA!!!!  Today I finished the top of the Larry Memorial Quilt......Larry is our youngest daughter's cat who died this past year.  He was very much loved by their entire family, but especially by my son in law, Jamie.  Larry followed him everywhere.  When Jamie had various surgeries, Larry became his comfort cat, always sitting near him or staying close by.  Larry's sister, Carmen arrived in the family both as kittens and she is now quite lonely without Larry around.  Larry is the golden colored cat in the photos.  (great product:  paper backed fabric in 8 1/2 x 11 sheets that go through the computer printer and print photos or anything else you like onto the fabric.  Let it dry, peel off the paper backing and rinse in cold water, and voila!  Photo on fabric that can then be sewn into whatever you like)
The Amish ladies at the quilt shop here in town will do the actual quilting in a few weeks, but I went over today to show the owner the quilt top so she could reserve a spot for this one.  Hopefully, it will get done sometime in the next month or so.
