Reading stories

I love reading to my children, always have. Since they came into this world we have read every day and enjoyed stories from all over the globe.

Bailee and Oscar really enjoy being read to and have been 'reading' stories themselves for over a year. They know where the start and finish of a book is and that you read from left to right. They can recognise a few letters (From their names), and I often catch them reading to themselves.

Oscar has started reading to others. It filled my heart with joy to see him reading to his baby sister. He used picture cues to tell her a story.

I wonder what genres they will enjoy when they are adults?
